🚛 Celebrating a Proud Moment for our Kim-Tam Team! 🚛

From June 5–8, Erron Collins represented Kim-Tam Logistics (Samuel, Son & Co.) at the prestigious Western Star “Star Nation Experience" in Bend, Oregon - an opportunity earned by just 14 owner-operators across North America.

Erron has been a dedicated Owner Operator with Kim-Tam for nearly 10 years, running our Heavy Cross-Border lane across Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, and Iowa. His commitment, professionalism, and passion for the road truly set him apart.

Western Star recognized Erron not only for his experience, but for the way he proudly represents their brand. During his time in Oregon, Erron had the opportunity to:
✅ Participate in one-on-one discussions with Western Star’s Vice Presidents
✅ Test drive the new X-Series
✅ Connect with fellow top operators from across North America

Erron’s connection to Western Star runs deep - inspired by his mother, who was both a company driver and Owner Operator with Kim-Tam and owned two Western Stars herself. It’s safe to say this passion has always been in his blood.

This past Saturday September 24th, Kim-Tam Logistics (Samuel, Son & Co.) sponsored the Northwest Ohio Cancer Connection Childhood Cancer Awareness Motorcycle Ride.

Robert Bartic, our 3-year tenured Kim Tam Logistics Company driver out of Toledo, Ohio, proudly stood behind our sponsorship with the Iron Bandogs LE/MC Motorcycle Club which is made up of current and retired law enforcement, firefighters and military.

There were 79 participants in the PokerRun making 4 stops throughout Ohio - Waterville, Swanton, Point Place, and Toledo. The group was able to raise $4400.00 towards the cause and after the day cleared up, were able to enjoy a great ride!

We are so pleased to have the opportunity to support such a meaningful cause, and look forward to support this group in future :)

**Happy US National Truck Driver Appreciation Week!** (Sept. 11-17)

From Ohio, to Buffalo, to Tennessee, our Samuel, Son & Co. and Kim-Tam Logistics facilities across the United States had SUCH a successful week at appreciating our commercial drivers south of the border for this years US National Truck Driver Appreciation Week!

These mornings were to thank not just our Kim-Tam Logistics and Samuel, Son & Co. fleet, but ALL commercial drivers coming through our doors... and I think we did just that ♥️🚛

** Happy Canadian National Truck Driver Appreciation Week! **

Samuel, Son & Co. and Kim-Tam Logistics celebrated all week long at four of our Ontario facilities and our Winnipeg Service Centre.

We appreciate our hard-working flatbed fleet and all commercial drivers across Canada, coast to coast, all year long. Keep on truckin’ and Drive Safe!

Be Alert!!

Ontario school buses have been retrofitted with new provincially mandated amber lights.

The lights are to warn drivers the bus will be slowing down before switching to the red lights and extending a stop sign telling drivers they must stop.

According to provincial regulations, drivers that don’t stop can be fined $400 to $2,000 and receive six demerit points for a first offence. If convicted a second time within five years, the penalty is a fine of $1,000 to $4,000 and six demerit points. The driver could also go to jail for up to six months.
