We are hiring Class 1 drivers(single and team drivers for longhaul) for our fleet of brand new trucks.

Responsibilities:
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials;
Receive and relay information to central dispatch;
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment;
Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers;
Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods;
Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers using communication devices;
Plan trip logistics and prepare documentation for transportation of goods and record trip details; cargo info; distance travelled; gas consumption;
To Transport goods and materials from Surrey, BC to across North America;
Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle systems and equipment such as tires, lights, brakes and cold storage, perform emergency roadside repairs;
Maintain log book of driving activities such as distance travelled, fuel consumption and other information;
Fill out any documentation while crossing the border required to transport cargo on international routes;
Oversee different aspects of vehicles g. Functioning of re**er, loading/unloading of materials;
Operates tractor-trailer to safely and efficiently transport of materials;
May drive solo or as part of a two-person team;
Willing to travel for extended periods.
Requirements:
Receive and relay information to central dispatcher;
Basic knowledge of English for document use, navigation and communication;
Monitor and if required assist with loading and unloading of goods and ensure that good are stacked and secured properly;
Experience: 1-2 years experience as a truck driver is an asset. On the job training will be provided;
Minimum High School education is required;
Language: English;
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials;
Must have Class 1 OR equal Driver’s License from any other province with air brake endorsement;
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment;
Eligible to cross international borders;(Asset)
Air brake endorsement (Z) is required;
Clean driving abstract. On the job training will be provided;
Completion of secondary school education is required.

Salary: $100,000.00 per year(approx.)
