Hello and welcome to the Mini Slimline Instagram Hop! Each month, we will be creating and sharing mini slimline cards. What's a mini slimline card? Well, some of us like to take a piece of 6X6" cardstock and fold it in half. Others use a 6X7" piece and fold it. All of us fit these cards into a 3.75" x 6.5" envelope. This is a really fun size to work with!

What started as a sketch for my Paper Pumpkin alternate card morphed into my card featuring the latest Paper Pumpkin stamp set paired with the beautiful Autumn Opulence patterned paper. Carrying the colours and patterned paper, I created this mini slim line card for today's hop. (Check out my blog for more photos.)

I'm creating with the beautiful new Mosaic Garden Suite coming this fall from Stampin' Up!

I've signed up for a few card swaps, and this slimline card is an adaptation of a standard-sized design I created for one of those swaps. The suite showcases a gorgeous colour palette featuring Crisp Cantaloupe, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Pretty Peacock, and Hydrangea Hue.

For this card, I chose to let Crisp Cantaloupe take centre stage, pairing it with the intricate mosaic-inspired patterns to create a warm, elegant design. I love how changing the card size gives the original layout a fresh new look while still highlighting the beautiful papers and coordinating colours.

When Stampin' Up! first released its new packaging, it did not include the die set name in bold at the top.
My workaround was to photocopy the name from the stamp set and paste it onto the die set.
I have been photocopying the dies as they arrive so that I can see if there is one missing and to see how they are placed together. Sometimes I could not figure out how they all fit on that one backing. Has that ever happened to you?

How do you store your dies?

I have been destashing & reorganizing my craft space.
Why?
Because I find it difficult to create when my space is overwhelmed.

Here is what I did with the stamp sets.
I had two bins with stamp sets and dies mixed together.
I sorted and pulled all the dies out.
The stamps are now in alphabetical order.
And I did decide to put the holiday-themed ones together in one bin.
