Moving Blankets: The what, the why and the how. 💪

Moving blankets are a key part of protecting furniture and your home during a move but not all blankets are created equal. Thick, heavily padded moving blankets provide better cushioning and protection than thinner, lower-quality alternatives.

But the blanket itself is only half the equation. Knowing how to use it properly is just as important. Furniture needs to be wrapped to cover exposed sides, corners and edges, with tape or stretch wrap used to keep the blankets securely in place throughout the move.

Having enough blankets is equally important. Bringing a surplus to every job, regardless of size, means there are always extras available when additional protection is needed. 😎

Sometimes, the best way out isn’t through the stairs. 👀

Our customers previous movers damaged their walls and belongings due to the extremely tight staircaseS. We used trained moving techniques for the larger items and got creative with a few that simply couldn’t make the turns.

At Breezy Moving, we find the safest and most efficient solution for every move.
