John went fishing today … and somehow landed a 4,000 lb trout using our 100 ton Grove GMK 4080. He also “hooked” a full grown brown bear, which turned out to be one of the sculpted boulders for a new playground in Southeast Calgary
Our friends at brought us in to place these pieces, with most of the boulders weighing around 5,200 lbs and the bear tipping the scales at about 5,500 lbs. With a tight setup and a slight slope to contend with, Nate got there early to help John get the crane setup and ready to go
From there, John took over. Smooth, efficient, and quick enough that even the client was impressed. Years of experience, a solid lift plan, and a strong ground crew meant this job wrapped up ahead of schedule and kept everything moving
