🚌 ROAD RULES: SCHOOL BUSES 🚌

School is back, and that means more school buses, more children, and more reasons to slow down and pay attention.

A few simple reminders for all drivers:

🛑 STOP when a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop arm extended.
🚗 NEVER PASS a stopped school bus when it is loading or unloading children.
🐢 SLOW DOWN and be prepared to stop when you see a school bus.
👀 WATCH FOR CHILDREN around bus stops, schools, and residential areas.
↔️ GIVE BUSES SPACE and allow them plenty of room to manoeuvre.
⚠️ FOLLOW THE SPEED LIMIT and be extra cautious in school zones.

Every child deserves to get to school and home safely.

Let’s all do our part to make Newfoundland roads safer for our children. 💛🖤
