It’s been a short but sweet trip here. Unfortunately, I missed out on a few pre planned excursions, but I still got a taste of this lovely little country.

Adios, Guatemala. I’ll be back some day.

My last day in Guatemala. I was supposed to visit Pacaya, but the tour was canceled due to low participants. I did get to see a few cool creatures though 🙂

This video is from August 11th. It begins at Houston IAH and ends at Guatemala City GUA.
The whole flight took approximately 3 hours and it was my first time flying with United Airlines.

This is a condensed video of today’s Mayan cooking excursion. We (mostly the chef) made churrasco. Wilfredo is a great chef with a lovely home environment.

I took part in a city tour yesterday morning. The whole thing lasted a few hours. Gustavo was a great guide and good fellow. This is a small video clip of the tour.

I did a quick, early morning review of Tequila Sunrise Hostel. I found my first night pretty quiet and comfortable, plus the staff are great too.
