⚓ Welcoming the next generation of Great Lakes mariners!

Georgian College marine cadets recently joined us for a full day of learning about Seaway operations along the Welland Canal. They also visited the St. Catharines Museum & Welland Canals Centre to explore the history of this vital waterway.

We’re proud to work with Georgian College and other industry partners to help prepare the marine workforce of the future.

🚢 Collaboration keeps our corridor moving!

Our President and CEO, Jim Athanasiou, recently welcomed Paul Bird, President and CEO of the Montreal Port Authority, to our St. Lambert offices. The Port of Montreal is a key player along the waterway, and our collaboration shows that a strong corridor depends on committed partners.

During our open house at St. Lambert Lock, elected officials toured the operations centre and lock facilities while speaking with our teams about opportunities in marine transportation.

Engagement with our partners is essential. Together, we help build strong communities and support regional economic development.
