We would like to recognize an incredible milestone for our Operations Manager, Gary Lalonde, who celebrates 25 years with Seaway Express Inc, this year.
Gary has been in the transportation industry for over 40 years, beginning his career behind the wheel at just 21. After 12 years driving LTL, he transitioned into dispatch, where his knowledge and first-hand experience quickly set him apart. When Seaway was growing back in 2000, Bob Gauthier was looking for an Operations Manager - true to small-town business traditions, Gary was officially hired at Bob’s kitchen table. Since then, Gary has been an integral part of Seaway’s smooth-running operations.
Having been a driver himself, Gary brings empathy and understanding to every part of the business, supporting both our team and our customers with insight that only comes from experience. When he joined Seaway, Gary’s children were still young and today he’s the proud grandfather of 3. Over the years, Gary has shown such dedication to Seaway and we are truly grateful for his loyalty, leadership, and hard work.
