2026 Equipment Operator’s
Ribstone Crossing Agri-Services is a family owned custom farming business located in East Central Alberta. We provide custom services such as corn planting and forage harvesting to surrounding areas.
We are seeking 4-6 equipment operators to join our team for the upcoming growing/harvest season.
Available positions are:
Truck drivers: July 7th- November 15th
We are looking for 2-3 experienced truck drivers.
Must hold a valid class 1 licence and have a clean record.
The primary job will be to pull live floor trailers from field to farm yard.
Machine Operator: April 1st- November 15th
We are seeking 2-3 experience Ag machine operators.
Must hold a valid driver’s licence and have a clean record.
The role of this position depending on experience would be to drive Ag equipment including tractors, planters, dump wagons, pack tractors, McDon swathers as well as various other farm implements.
Qualifications:
- Previous equipment experience required
- Capable of working independently as well as with a team
- Keen to take initiative and learn new skills
- Must have own personal cell phone
- Experience using GPS and basic timesheet management apps
- Daily care and maintenance for equipment
- Ability to work long hours for an extended period of time during peak season
- Strong communication skills
- Must speak English
- Accurate and reliable record keeping
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude
In addition to our custom farming business we also run a cow calf operation consisting of 800 mother cows. Occasional opportunities to assist with livestock will be available on an as needed basis and has been a highlight for many past crew members.
Housing is provided as well as warm dinners on days worked in the field.
