Who doesn't love seafood chowder?!The beloved 'Best-of-the-Bay' Chowder contest is back this summer on June 27th during our 38th Annual Wooden Boat Festival!

Purchase your chowder ballot at the Cowichan Bay Maritime Centre for $10 then wander the village and taste 4 delicious chowders (maybe more if other restaurants decide to join in?!). Return back to the Boat festival to cast your vote for your favorite chowder! The winner will be crowned 'Best of the Bay'

This year we are excited that Oliver's Lounge and Grill Cowichan Bay Pub Rob's Lighthouse Eatery and Stewart Hachey (Daphne's dad and the reigning chowder champ) have stepped forward to participate and make this event happen!

Join us on the 27th for a day of fun and lots of good eats!
