What a day for an incredible cause!

Midland was proud to participate as a Big Rig Sponsor of the 15th Annual Truck Convoy in support of Special Olympics Nova Scotia .

This year's event was one for the record books, with 232 big rigs participating and an incredible $197,165 raised to support Special Olympics athletes across Nova Scotia through training, programs, and competitions.

For 15 years, this convoy has brought communities together in support of inclusion, determination, and opportunity. We're honoured to continue our long-standing participation in this meaningful event.

Today, Midland is recognizing the loss of an industry leader, Wesley Armour. Along with his father, Wes founded Armour Transportation Systems in 1966. He grew a successful business from Atlantic Canada while also supporting a variety of charitable causes including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. He leaves behind a lasting legacy. The 10th Annual Pulling for the United Way Truck Pull was an incredible success, bringing together local businesses, schools, volunteers, sponsors, and community supporters for a day of friendly competition and fundraising.

Congratulations to Team Midland, who claimed first place with a winning final pull time of 25.75 seconds.

Even more importantly, together we raised more than $25,000 in support of United Way Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick. Every dollar raised helps fund programs and services that make a meaningful difference in our local communities.

A special thank you to United Way Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick, the City of Dieppe, and 91.9 The Bend for their ongoing partnership and support in helping make this event possible.
