Another damp grey morning, light rain, temp 12C, wind SE 30 knots. Our rain started later yesterday afternoon and it rained heavy at times.
Did you know, everything went well for the Digby lobster fleet yesterday while setting their gear. Our CCG Westport was late getting back home last night, my daughter Amanda was not back home by midnight, so it was a long day for the crew in blue.

There is another weather system coming our way packing strong wind and much colder temperatures on the weekend.

The sun is trying to shine through the clouds so we had a few Diamonds for a few minutes. Temp 8 C, wind Nor’ East 16 knots.
Did you know, yesterday we had a mix bag of weather, we started with rain, then thick fog, then it cleared and it was lovely, then it clouded over and the wind decided to blow. Blink twice and our weather can and will change.

Later today the lobster season off Digby is suppose to open so our CCG Westport will leave port to be there to support the fleet if needed. Amanda is on duty so she will be onboard.

Something To Ponder, I read gray skies are just clouds passing over, unless they decided to stop and cast a shadow on our day, today is one of those days.

We have rain this morning, temp 12C, wind calm Easterly 9 knots, we may see the sun by noon, well maybe.
Did you know, We all enjoyed having supper together and I so love the sound of the laughter we all enjoy when they all come and gather and then leave full and happy, I am blessed. Even though I didn’t get to sail much this season I miss checking and getting ready for each day.

Yesterday we put everything away for the winter and a Hugh thank you to Captains Chris, Kenney, Shaelyn, Clayton, Ryley, Richard, & Andrew, I appreciate the work you all did to help put this away from the Chad & Sisters Two it didn’t take very long to do and it was wonderful to get it done, thank you everyone.

It was a beautiful sun rise this morning, the sun is starting to shine, temp 11C, wind calm SW 9 knots.

The glow in the Harbour will turn into Diamonds.

Something To Ponder, It is stating to look like it is going to be a beautiful day. Today will be the day my family will gather around my dining room table, a time to give thanks for each other and so many things to be thankful for in our lives. If today is the day you gather or tomorrow I wish you a Blessed day.

Something To Ponder, Be Thankful for today because sometimes we get so busy that we forget just how Blessed we are to wake up with another chance to Love your Loved ones.

Diamonds in the Harbour again this morning, amazing and the sun feels strong, temp 9 C, wind Nor’ West 24 knots.

The night sky last evening had lots of stars twinkling to enjoy.

Did you know it sure feels like Fall today and the little breeze sure makes it feels much colder but sun is doing its job for sure. Everything looks so pretty in the morning with the sun shining on it . The long weekend starts today for many folks so there be lots of travelling for some, so I wish you safe travels to your loved ones.

Another morning to smile at the sun. Diamonds sparkling in the Harbour. Temp 15 C, wind Southerly 12 knots with gusts to 22.

Did you know, our sky is full of clouds but the sun is still managing to shine through them.

Our whale watching season is over for this year. It has been amazing and my boat family made it that way and there were lots of happy people leaving Brier Island. My office girls looked after our visitors first before they got on the boat and I wanted to say a sincere thank you to everyone who were part of our Mariner Cruises family. I appreciate all you have done for me and each other during our season, you all are amazing and I am truly grateful that you work for me.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to come sail with us and we appreciate you because without you I wouldn’t be in business. How wonderful to have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and shared the privilege of watching our Natural Wonders of the famous Bay of Fundy.

Something To Ponder, A joy that’s shared is a joy made double.

It’s a little cooler today, temp 10 C, wind calm Westerly 10 knots, Diamonds in the Harbour, amazing! Last nights sky was so beautiful with lots of sparkling stars.

Did you know, the wind sure did blow yesterday and I was expecting to see a swell rolling all the Freeport shore but there isn’t so I was surprised about that. The clouds that were so dark looking yesterday morning but it turned into a blue sky with amazing white clouds. It was a beautiful Fall day.

Today we will be sailing today at 12:30 pm.

Something To Ponder. The grass may be greener on the other side , but it is just as hard to mow.

Burrr, a little cooler this morning, temp 9 C, wind Westerly 39 knots, pretty morning sky. Pink sky in the morning sailor take warning? Yes, we do have wind this morning.

Did you know, what clouds there are around this morning don’t look very friendly. We had some rain last evening but everything is dry this morning.

No tour today but we are planning to sail tomorrow at 12:30 pm Something To Ponder; If you have no wrinkles you haven’t laughed enough.

We have some moisture this morning, rain, temp 14 C, wind calm Easterly 9 knots, a little coastal fog.
Did you know, it sure was a beautiful day yesterday and I was lucky enough to have my Queen Rosalind home for a couple days and I enjoyed the time we have spent together, just a great feeling to have her home with me.

Yesterday was another "whaleless" day on the boat but it sure was a beautiful day to sail the Bay. We watched some great birds but not a spout to be seen. No tours today.

Something To Ponder, How true is this little thought, Mistakes are often the best teachers.
