All of the Stepping Stones Trails are absolutely in mint codition with the exception of the Green trail and Eldora Valley which are a bit soft in fair condition.The trail base is super fast today. Adventure Is Out There!

Spring riding conditions are here. Ride in the mornings or go for a night ride when temps are cooler. Sunny warm afternoons soften the trail base and you will dig in considerably. Just groomed Troll's Waterslide, Beaver Shores, Anna's Bypass, 625, Airendelle Bridge, Polar Vortex, Blue trail, Orange trail past the firepit, Green trail, Eldora Valley, Long Lake, Pan Lake, Northuldra, Jack's Frost. All are in excellent condition!!!! The weather is going to hold up through the weekend but it may be the last weekend for the season, so get out there while you still can!!

Winter reprieve is over! We got a good batch of snow but the Stepping Stones trails are all groomed. Creek crossings are a bit sketchy but the Dalai Yama managed to get thru without getting stuck!

This is awesome! If you are new to North Bay or just new to camping, this is a great opportunity to experience the great outdoors. I hope many will take advantage of this.

Late season ride. The crusty snow on the trail supports a bike and rider. Use lower tire pressure and the riding is great. And yea I wiped out!!!!

The warm weather and rain may have compromised portions of the Stepping Stones Trails that cross streams, lakes or ponds. In all cases, there are land-based trails to avoid ice travel.

Secondly, earlier this week somebody removed about 80% of the trail segment signs and maps. If you are the person or know the person that did this, I would be happy to talk to the individual to understand the reason and see if there is a way to address your concerns.

Over the weekend an elderly lady that walks the trails lost her way because she relies on the signs and maps to navigate. Unfortunately she was lost for nearly 4 hours during the thunderstorm on Saturday morning. Fortunately she was found unharmed but tired, cold, wet and a bit shaken.

This is the very reason for the signs and maps to ensure the trails are accessible to a wide range of users and to help locate people that need assistance.

Again if there is an issue about the signage, we are happy to talk with the individual and reach a consensus.
