One of my favourite little hacks at Universal Orlando? 👀🥤

You can purchase a resort refillable mug and enjoy UNLIMITED refills at Coca-Cola Freestyle machines throughout the hotels during your stay!

We are talking everything from classic Coke products to fun flavour combinations you can mix yourself. Perfect for grabbing a drink before heading to the parks, cooling off after a long day, or keeping the kids happy without constantly buying drinks.

And honestly… creating your own weird Coke combinations somehow becomes part of the vacation fun 😂

Plus the mug is a great souvenir cup I use at home too!

One of my favourite little “worth it” splurges to try at least once at Walt Disney World? Minnie Vans! ❤️🖤

If you’ve never used one before, they are Disney-operated vehicles through the Lyft app, driven by Cast Members who know Disney transportation inside and out. And honestly… they make getting around feel like part of the magic instead of just transportation.

Here’s why people LOVE them:

They can drop you off and pick you up in places regular Uber/Lyft cannot. My favourite example of this? Magic Kingdom! Instead of being dropped at the Transportation & Ticket Center and then needing monorail or ferry transportation, Minnie Vans can take you directly to the front entrance of Magic Kingdom.

The theming is SO cute. The red polka dots, the little Disney touches inside, and sometimes even Disney trivia or fun conversations with your driver make it feel extra magical from the moment you climb in.

Many vehicles have screens playing Disney cartoons for kids (or let’s be honest… adults too 😂).

The drivers are usually fantastic. We’ve had Cast Members sharing hidden tips, favourite snacks, park stories, having dance parties, and even helping exhausted families with strollers and sleepy kids at the end of a long park day.

Speaking of strollers… they are amazing for families. Minnie Vans include up to TWO car seats if needed, which can make life so much easier for families travelling with little ones.

They are especially helpful after fireworks, early dining reservations, resort hopping, or when you just need a little break from buses and crowds. We took one back from Magic Kingdom After Hours event and it was a complete game changer!

Are they necessary for every trip? Nope! Disney transportation is still fantastic. But sometimes that extra convenience and magic is absolutely worth it.

And honestly… pulling up to your resort in a giant polka dot Minnie Van just feels FUN. ❤️

He’s been making us laugh for generations with his kind heart, endless optimism, and unforgettable “gawrsh!” moments. And after hearing my absolutely terrible “gawrsh” impression in this video… I’d also like to formally apologize to Goofy himself. 😂

Towering 40 feet above the deck with 5 racing lanes, Adrenaline Peak lets you climb at your own speed and even choose your difficulty level. Whether you’re racing your family to the top or just challenging yourself to try something new at sea, it’s such a fun experience (and yes… your legs may feel it after 😂).

The views from the top are pretty incredible too.

The FlowRider on is one of those activities you can’t help but stop and watch… and then suddenly convince yourself you should try 😂

Whether you’re brave enough to stand up and surf or prefer to bodyboard first, it’s SO much fun!

The wipeouts are entertaining, the cheers from the crowd make it even better, and when someone finally catches a wave? It's EPIC!

So be honest… are you trying it, or are you safely cheering from a lounge chair with a drink in hand? 👀 Either way, it's ICONic fun!

There’s just something about Central Park on Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas 🌿✨

It has such a relaxed, peaceful feel while still being right in the heart of the ship. Between specialty dining at Izumi and Chops Grille, cocktails at Bubbles and Trellis Bar, and the NEW Izumi in the Park walk-up window (such a huge addition 👀🍣), it’s quickly become one of my favourite neighborhoods onboard.

And yes… Park Café deserves its own post because there is a LOT to talk about there ☕🥪 Stay tuned for that post to come!

It’s the perfect place to slow down between all the excitement onboard and just enjoy the atmosphere.

If you’ve ever wondered whether a mega cruise ship can actually feel designed for families with younger kids… the Surfside neighborhood on the Icon of the Seas absolutely changes the game 🌊✨

A carousel, splash park, family pool, even a dedicated area for diapered tots to safely cool down 👶💦 Add in SO many easy food options, a family buffet, ice cream on demand, and yes… “mommy & me drinks” 🍹🍦

It’s one of those spaces where little kids can have the BEST day ever, while parents can actually relax too.

There is SO much more tucked into the Surfside neighborhood that makes family cruising easier, smoother, and way more fun.

And if planning a family cruise feels overwhelming, this is the kind of thing I love helping families navigate… finding the right ship, the right spaces, and the little details that help everyone from toddlers to parents have the best vacation possible 💙

The waterpark on Icon of the Seas is honestly amazing!!

Category 6 is the largest waterpark at sea, and somehow it still feels even bigger in person. Between the speed slides, raft slides, mat racers, splash zones, and the views of the ocean while you’re flying down a waterslide… it’s one of those things you really have to experience for yourself.

And yes… adults absolutely love it just as much as the kids 😂

One minute you’re relaxing in the sun, the next you’re racing your family down slides in the middle of the ocean. The energy up here is SO fun.

This ship really was designed so everyone can have their own perfect vacation all in one place.

Unlimited Soft serve ice cream at Sprinkles on the Icon of the Seas just hits different 🍦

They make the cone for you… all you have to do is enjoy it while soaking in the ocean views and vacation vibes.

Welcome to the AquaDome aboard the Icon of the Seas 🌊

This space honestly feels like something from the future. Incredible dining, shopping, entertainment, and at night… let’s just say the AquaTheater shows are on another level. Think massive dives, breathtaking acrobatics, powerful music, and yes… a relatively small pool of water 👀

I don’t want to spoil too much because you truly need to experience it for yourself, but WOW.

The energy onboard this ship is unreal.
