A hidden gem in plain sight Japans oldest botanical gardens have over 100 varieties of Cherry Blossoms, no lines and a bonsai garden too!

Had a fantastic time trying the tasting menu at Bar Bricco. This restaurant has opened up a few spin-offs lately, but Bricco is still my fav.

Bar Bricco has a polished new exterior and a few new menu items, including Bricco Selects, a tasting menu.

This book is called a Goshuinchō (御朱印帳) and it's used to collect Goshuin (御朱印) which are honorific seals stamped and signed with calligraphy at Buddhist and Shinto Shrines in Japan.

This Goshuin is from Senso-ji temple in Tokyo. It's the first stamp of what I hope will be many to commemorate this trip

Since the release of his debut album Fresh Air in 2016, K-Riz has truly found his stride at the intersection of hip-hop and R&B, earning admiration from audiences and critics alike. This Edmonton-based dynamo is a rare, multifaceted artist who can rap and sing with equal aplomb, and packs his syllables and vocals with confidence and power. K-riz’s compositions fuse nostalgic funk samples, hip-hop, and R&B interplay with prevalent inflections of dance-music and jazz to create an eclectic and engaging sound in his recordings and on stage.
