We are proud to recognize Class 1 Professional Truck Driver Darren Flatt from our Kamloops Terminal for a recent act of care and compassion while on the job.

While delivering fuel to a service station in Castlegar, British Columbia, Darren encountered a member of the community who needed assistance before he could safely complete his delivery. Darren took the time to help move the individual to a safer location and ensure he was hydrated.

His actions reflect the professionalism, awareness, and genuine care that our drivers demonstrate every day. We were pleased to see Darren’s efforts recognized by the local community, and we are equally proud to celebrate him as part of the KAG Canada team.

When asked about the recognition, Darren was modest, sharing that he simply did what felt like the right thing to do. Darren recently enjoyed vacation time with his loved ones and shared a few photos with us—a great reminder of the person behind the wheel and the values our people bring to KAG Canada every day.

Amy Smith, our Terminal Support Coordinator in Moose Jaw, volunteers her time to organizations like her local Royal Canadian Legion branch and the Kin Club of Moose Jaw & District, helping with community events and fundraising initiatives that support Saskatchewan families. Notably, she's helped with Telemiracle by being the event's mascot and collecting donations over the phone during the live broadcast.
