The pilots may spend the most time in the air, but they certainly aren’t doing it alone.

Our maintenance team plays a huge part in every flight we make. A lot of work happens in the hangar before an aircraft ever heads out for the day.

We're excited to expand our presence in Alberta and bring our helicopter services to the Cold Lake area.

Every flight depends on teamwork, trust, and people who take pride in what they do.
This Thanksgiving, Vortex Helicopters is grateful for our crews, clients, partners, and everyone who supports our operations throughout the year.

Thank you for continuing to put your trust in our team. We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving.

A lot of the places our clients need to reach don’t come with a convenient access road.

Remote sites are part of working in the north. Our job is helping you get there.

Long-line work is one of those operations that looks impressive from the ground, but there’s a lot happening behind the scenes.

Planning, communication, aircraft control and an experienced team all have to come together to get the load exactly where it needs to go.

You’ve probably seen these around our page a few times. 🚁

This helicopter is a big part of our fleet and gives us the versatility needed for everything from survey work to remote operations and long-line support.

There’s a reason these aircraft stay busy.

Today, we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We remember the children who never returned home, honour Survivors of residential schools, and recognize the families and communities who continue to carry the impacts.

September 30 is a day to listen, learn, reflect, and remember. Every Child Matters.

These are some of the flights that matter most.

During wildfire season, our crews are proud to put their experience to work supporting suppression efforts across Alberta.

A big thank you to everyone working on the ground and in the air when our communities need it most.

When you have kilometres of pipeline to cover, seeing it from the air can make a big difference.

Vortex provides pipeline survey and construction support across northern Alberta, helping teams cover more ground without being on the ground.
