I'm frustrated for 10 years now I've been trying to legally set up a bottle depot to no avail, I keep getting the runaround. I've contacted my MLA, NB recycling, as well as numerous phone numbers and contacts to follow up with. Now I'm being told if I buy bottles on my own I could be arrested and prosecuted in the province of New Brunswick. So what can I do, they haven't issued a bottle recycling license in New Brunswick since 1994. Also, even if I was to buy bottles and try to sell them out of province I would be charged with a criminal offence. So I'm at a loss, looking for help through social media, all I want to do is help clean up the environment in our community where there is no bottle redemption center or drop zone. Please share, I'm hoping somehow I can get this resolved and get the word out!
