Public Notice: Pier Lights Off for Fish Fly Season

To help reduce the number of fish flies gathering on our piers, the lights at Pan Am, Fisherman’s Pier, and sections of the main pier will be turned off for the season.
Lights attract fishflies, so keeping them off should help cut down the swarms.

The lights will stay off until the fishflies dissipate. Please use caution if visiting the piers during this time, as they will be darker than usual. Anyone using the piers does so at their own risk.

Thanks for your patience and understanding while we wait out the season.
