The best moments aren’t always the loudest ones.
No big campaign. No formal invitations. No perfect timing. We launched SettleInn’s professional testing event quietly, mid-week, during work hours.
And the city showed up anyway.
The Mayor of Sudbury. A representative from MP
Vivian Lapointe’s office. The City of Greater Sudbury Local college representatives, Representatives from NORCAT, Adebola Adefioye RECE, MA (CYC-P), PhD Student Northern Ontario Black Economic Empowerment Program , And a beautiful cross-section of our community French, English, Chinese, and representatives from nations across the world - all in one room, all believing in the same vision.
That is not lost on us. Not even a little.
This is what SettleInn was built for. Not one culture. Not one language. Every newcomer. Every background. Every story.
And before the room filled, two people already believed:
Jonathan Gbedemah (Jonathan’s Pharmacy) - Premium Sponsor
You saw the vision before the proof. Every newcomer who finds a home through SettleInn carries a piece of your generosity with them.
Spencer Mark White - Printing Sponsor
You dressed our team in purpose. We wore your support proudly on one of the most important days of this journey.
SettleInn was born from a simple but powerful truth - newcomers deserve a soft landing. Housing. Transport. Community. Dignity. All in one place. Right here in Sudbury, Ontario.
This launch was our first proof point. Not the destination - the beginning.
Sudbury, you didn’t have to show up. But you did.
In all We Thank GOD Almighty who made everything possible. 🙏
And that is exactly why we believe this city is about to be known for something extraordinary. ✨💡
We are just getting started.
