June 7th is the perfect day for Free Ride Day as it also the date of Hamilton’s annual Open Streets on King hosted by and is the date of the 16th annual Bike For Mike hosted by . This is your sign to ride on June 7th!! 🚲

Hamilton Bike Share is excited to present our inaugural 📣 FREE RIDE DAY 📣, brought to you by 💙. Free Ride Day is coming your way on Sunday, June 7th from 9AM-9PM, where you can ride for up to 3 hours on us, using any Hamilton Bike Share bike in our service area. 🚲

How to Ride Free on June 7th:
1. Sign in to your existing account OR create a new Pay As You Go account in the SoBi app. You will need a valid email and credit card to register (select the $0 pre-fill option if you do not wish to add any additional credit).

2. Use the app map to find a nearby bike. Scan the QR code at the back of the bike and remove the U-Bar to unlock. Remember to always bring the U-Bar with you! Store it securely in the holster slot parallel to the rear wheel.

3. Ride for up to 3 hours in one trip or across multiple smaller trips between 9AM- 9PM on June 7th.

4. End your trip by using the u-bar to lock your bike to any Bike Share hub for free or lock to a public post or bike rack for a $1 convenience fee.

All our regular operating rules and fees for additional features (i.e., out of hub locking, multi-bike rentals) continue to apply! Stay in our service area (Dundas to Kenilworth in the lower city) and do not leave bikes unlocked and unattended.

The Operations Director is an organizational leadership role involved in people management, service delivery, fleet management, strategic planning, policy, and reporting.

Workshop Announcement🔔 Are you an adult who would like to get comfy riding on two wheels, but hasn’t yet learned how? Come join us and our friends from as we lead a fun and safe Learn-to-Ride workshop for adults! This 2-session workshop is oriented towards those learning to ride for the first time. Come and learn a new skill in a welcoming, shame-free environment — we’ll provide the bikes, guidance, and encouragement! 🫂

It’s that time of year again , our Van Wagner’s Beach Hub is officially open again!

This hub is our one and only seasonal satellite hub located along the multi-use Waterfront Trail. Looks like it’s time to head to the beach for a waterfront ride and beach day! 🏖️🚲

**Don’t forget to lock your bike back at the Van Wagner’s Beach Hub when you’re finished riding**

Our Annual Magnolia ride is officially 2 days away and we hope to see you there!!! Join us this Saturday, April 25th at 10AM for a ~10KM slow roll around the Delta and Stinson neighbourhoods to check out some of the beautiful magnolias currently in bloom in the city. The ride will begin at our Maple at Rothsay Hub (swipe for map) and end in Carter Park.

As per tradition, this ride will run rain or shine! ☔️🚲
