Loved knocking up this birthday gift for a friend of mine

Back in 2011 or so we had a completion on to get to the ๐Ÿ”

We went about it in very different ways

I focused on youth production and kept my kits and stadium original and local. My friend was a corporate sell out (hence the sponsors)

This kit showcases the fearsome Malik Thiam. A Senegalese striker known for phenomenal goal scoring and a flamboyant personality

This was without doubt the greatest moment in my football/soccer life. Taking the lead, inside a few minutes, at home, in the Euro 2020 final

As an Englishman and life long England fan, I like the rest of the England fans, had expectation of the semi finals at the most

To even see us in a final was something I had pretty much given up on

Iโ€™d seen the โ€œGolden Generationโ€ fail. Iโ€™d seen us have all the talent and never deliver

But when Luke Shaw struck the ball into the Italian net, I lost it

I barely remember the moment. It was pure ecstasy. A moment only football can bring

For that moment, my country, was ahead in a major European final

It obviously wouldnโ€™t end in joy for England, losing out to the Italians on penalties

Iโ€™m not sure Iโ€™ll ever get over it, but one thing is for sure, this shirt is my photograph. My video. My souvenir. My memory.

This game means everything to me. It always has and it always will

To some, football shirts are fashion symbols. For some, itโ€™s their way of showing support. To me, shirts tell stories, and this story may not have ended the way Iโ€™d have hoped, but it was quite the journey
