Day 5 in Paris! 🇫🇷❤️

Today we did the Big Bus Tour and toured the Notre-Dame Cathedral.

While the Big Bus Tour is definitely a major tourist thing to do, it was actually really nice to just sit back, drive around and see all the different sites while having someone share little pieces of history along the way. It’s a great way to get a feel for Paris when you’re visiting for the first time.

And Notre-Dame is absolutely breathtaking! 😍 It’s free to get in, but you do need a reservation, which I made a couple days ago. Definitely something I’d recommend adding to a Paris itinerary!

We also successfully rode the Metro without any issues thanks to Google Maps! New York this Christmas will hopefully be just as easy 🤞

I also learned that I could never live in Paris because apparently a lot of public washrooms make you PAY to use them. 🫠 Crohn’s disease… if you know, you know. 😂

Tomorrow we’re off to the Eiffel Tower! 🗼

Disneyland just increased its ticket prices, with several ticket tiers going up $5 per ticket and Lightning Lane Multi Pass increasing by $1.

And if you’re thinking about a Disneyland vacation in 2027, there’s some good news! ✨

You can still book a Disneyland vacation package at the current ticket pricing before the new prices are reflected in future bookings.

That means if Disneyland is on your 2027 travel list, now is a great time to get your package booked and lock in the lower ticket price. 🎟️🏰

🪄Your ticket pricing is locked in when you book
🪄 You can make as many payments as you like
🪄 Final payment isn’t due until 30 days before check-in

Day 3 & 4 were spent at Disneyland Paris and we have now checked into our vacation rental for the next week!

My overall thoughts on Disneyland Paris… I LOVE IT! ❤️ The park is honestly so beautiful, and I love how much they really draw from the original Disney movies.

It’s slightly smaller than Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, but I wouldn’t say it’s that much smaller. And Adventure World is still growing, so I think it’s going to be really cool to see how it continues to expand!

The only thing that affected our enjoyment of the parks was the jet lag. Even though we did everything right and got onto the local sleep schedule right away, we are still SO exhausted. 😂

If you’re considering a trip to Disneyland Paris, I highly recommend it! 🇫🇷🏰

Day 1 & 2 at Disneyland Paris! 🏰✨

We arrived yesterday at noon, dropped our suitcases off at the hotel and went straight to the park! This worked out really well because we adjusted to the local time pretty easily by not taking a nap when we got off the plane.

So far, I am IN LOVE with these parks and really like their spin/version of the rides in the United States.

Today we watched A Celebration in Arendelle and Disney Cascade of Lights, 10/10 👌. I’m excited to watch Disney Tales of Magic tomorrow!

The rides and Cast Members say everything in French and then in English. Love that! 🇫🇷❤️

I’ll be out of the office and away from my computer from September 30th through October 12th, returning to work on October 13th.

During this time, I’ll be taking a proper break from the inbox, so I won’t be sending new quotes or working on new trip planning requests. I’ll still be keeping an eye on things for my currently booked clients, and I’ll be available for anything time-sensitive or urgent that comes up with an existing reservation.

Well, looks like The CAMBRiA has another new name! 😂

The hotel was previously sold and became The Anaheim Resort Suites, and now it has sold again and is officially becoming SpringHill Suites by Marriott Anaheim Theme Park / Convention Area.

I’m not going to lie, the new name is better IMO. 😂

For anyone who already has a reservation at this hotel, don’t worry! The last name change did not affect the guest experience, and I expect this transition to be the same. Your vacation plans should be just fine! ❤️

At the moment, we aren’t able to package this hotel with Disneyland tickets as part of a Disney vacation package, but hopefully that changes soon!
