Parts Technician
SMR Diesel Trucks is hiring!
We’re looking for an experienced Parts Technician to join our team in Lac La Biche, Alberta.
Job Type: Permanent – Full Time
Wage: $35–$45/hour based on experience and qualifications
Location: Lac La Biche, AB
Job Description
* Experienced Parts Technician preferred
* Heavy-duty truck and automotive parts experience is an asset
* Work with a large inventory of heavy-duty, automotive and industrial parts
* Customer-facing counter and phone sales
* Source parts from suppliers and manufacturers
* Work closely with our Service Department and technicians
* Support both shop and outside customers
Responsibilities
* Identify and source the correct parts for repairs
* Quote and sell parts to customers
* Process parts orders, invoices and returns
* Receive, inspect and organize incoming parts
* Maintain accurate inventory
* Communicate with suppliers and vendors
* Assist technicians and service advisors with parts requirements
* Provide knowledgeable and professional customer service
* Keep the parts department organized and efficient
