Last breakfast in Iceland! 🇮🇸

$115 CAD for two adults.

One of the benefits of cruising in Iceland is being able to return to the ship for your meals instead of having to find a restaurant every time you’re back in port.

And there’s something to be said for unpacking once and having your accommodations travel with you. When you add up the per-person cost of meals, hotels, car rentals and parking, the per-day cost of a cruise can be a significant benefit.

And then there’s the scenery… priceless. No matter what form of travel you choose, Iceland is simply spectacular. ❤️

🚨 Big news for travelers heading to Europe: The European Union has indefinitely delayed the launch of ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System). The EU has stated it will provide several months' notice before the system goes live.

Please note: biometrics (fingerprints and photos) are still being collected at airports resulting in delays. Some airports may temporarily suspend usage of the designated machines due to overcrowding or technical issues.

Day 9 🇮🇸

Yesterday was a sea day, and I opted not to take pictures or make a post. Instead, I chose to simply live in the moment and enjoy the day. We were fortunate to see whales off our Balcony, mingle with our group, and enjoy the entertainment.

This morning, Celebrity Silhouette arrived in Reykjavík for an overnight stay. Through my Expedia Cruises Viator link, we booked the Iceland South Coast Full Day Small-Group Tour.

We were picked up right at the port at 9 AM and dropped back off around 7 PM, with an incredible day of exploring in between.

From the glacier dusted in volcanic ash, to the dramatic black sand beach and some truly spectacular waterfalls, Iceland continues to not disappoint.

And today, I can officially say… I walked around AND through a waterfall!

Another incredible day and another memory I’ll never forget.
