Lucky for us, our ferry's maintenance has been rescheduled and, so, the Captains elog session on Big Tancook Island is still on for tomorrow, October 6th!

We will be hosting a training session for the new Captains elog system!
On Tuesday, October 6th from 11:30am-1pm, join a Captains eLog trainer at the Tancook Island Recreational Centre.
Fishers from Big Tancook, Blandford, Chester, and beyond are welcome to attend and learn, first hand, how to use this new system. The trainer is coming prepared for all of your questions!
Make sure to bring your FIN, your eLog key, your Vessel Registration Number, and a tablet device.

💡 Wharf Lighting Notice 💡
The Big Tancook Island Harbour Authority would like to advise residents, visitors, and fishermen that there are currently some issues with the lights on the wharf.
Please use caution when accessing the wharf area, particularly during hours of darkness, until this issue is resolved.
The matter is being looked into as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and will provide updates as they become available.

Wharf Parking Reminder – Big Tancook Island Harbour Authority

We're asking all residents and visitors to please follow the wharf parking rules so that space remains available for daily travelers.

The rules:

🅿️ Parking is limited to TWO DAYS and ONE NIGHT maximum.
🅿️ Water-side parking is reserved for fishers only.

Wharf parking is offered to residents by the kindness of the Harbour Authority, and following these limits ensures there's room for those traveling to and from the island each day. Vehicles left beyond the permitted timeframe may be tagged.

Thank you for helping keep the wharf accessible for everyone.

🚧 Parking Update & Reminders 🚧

The inside parking lot (where recent construction has taken place) is now being cleared in preparation for upcoming work on the new wharf. This area can no longer be used for parking.

Please also remember:
• Parking on the wharf is limited to ONE NIGHT only.
• Water-side parking is reserved for fishers only.
