❄️ The right lens isn’t just about colour—it’s about the light you ride in.

The 509 Aviator 2.0 goggles feature a curved toric lens for a wide field of view, a 5MAG magnetic system for quick lens changes, and an over-the-glasses design compatible with most glasses frames. Try them with your glasses and helmet to check your fit.

Which lens suits your ride?

🌙 Clear: Night riding and low-light conditions.
☁️ Light Rose HCS or Amber HCS: Overcast and low light. HCS—High Contrast Spectrum—helps bring out terrain details.
🌤️ Chrome Mirror Light Blue HCS: Partly cloudy to sunny conditions.
☀️ Smoke or Red Mirror Smoke: Bright, sunny conditions.
🔄 Photochromatic Clear to Blue: Adjusts its tint as light changes; recommended for low light to partly cloudy conditions.
✨ Polarized options: Reduce reflected glare from surfaces such as snow. Choose the specific tint for your lighting conditions—polarized doesn’t automatically mean a dark, sunny-day lens.

Mirror colour alone doesn’t tell you how much light a lens lets through. Check the full lens name and its recommended conditions.

🔧 Behind the Repair: A fault code is a clue—not the whole answer.

When your machine displays a fault code, it tells us the system has detected something outside its expected operation. It doesn’t always tell us which part needs replacing.

For example, a code related to a sensor could be caused by the sensor itself, damaged wiring or a poor connection. Replacing the sensor without testing may leave the original problem unresolved.

That’s why diagnosis involves more than plugging in a scanner. We use the information available, inspect and test the affected system, then check the repair.

At DB Powersports, the goal is to find the cause—not simply replace parts until something works. Proper diagnosis takes time, but it helps avoid unnecessary parts and repeat repairs.

Wind, how active you’ll be and how long you’re riding all influence your layering needs. The goal is to stay warm while managing moisture—not pile on so much clothing that you overheat.

Build your setup with women’s 509 gear:

💧 Base: The FZN LVL 1 Shirt uses lightweight, moisture-wicking polyester to help move perspiration away from your skin.

🔥 Mid: The Syn Down Hybrid Jacket adds synthetic insulation, with fleece sleeves and side panels. Add this layer when you need extra warmth.

🌨️ Outer: The Range Insulated Jacket combines waterproof-breathable fabric, built-in insulation and underarm vents for weather protection and adjustable airflow.
