Who says you need a real ID to start exploring?
In my other world as an educator, I’ve been taking my students on a whirlwind tour of the globe! This year, we’ve "visited" Vietnam, Mexico, and Japan, and right now, we’re cycling through the Netherlands.
But before we could board World Airlines, we had to tackle the most important step: The Passport.
I watched as these little explorers carefully painted their stamps and filled in their details. There’s a lesson here for us grown-up travellers, too. Often, the barriers that keep us small, the fear of paperwork, the how-to of travel, the tech, are just things we haven't been taught yet.
Whether I’m helping a student understand a map of Mexico City or helping a solo woman traveller navigate her first European river cruise, my mission is the same: Replace anxiety with curiosity.
Travel is the excuse. Courage is the destination. And sometimes, that courage starts with a handmade passport and a bit of paint.
Are you ready to trade your pretend passport for the real deal this year? Let’s chat!
