The good news: MiRiver is built, tested, and ready to make your daily commute a whole lot smoother. 🎉

The waiting-game news: We are currently tapping our watches waiting for Apple to give us the final thumbs up for the App Store. 🍏⌚

We know the traffic around town hasn't been fun, and we're doing everything we can to get this launched. Keep an eye on our page!

The Big Debate Over How To Say “𝐌𝐢𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫”

What a treat it was to hear from each of you after that last post. 🤍

Some of you leaned towards A, others B…but hands down the best part was how many of you feel a connection to what we’re building 🥹

To clear up the "right" way once and for all 😜:
We pronounce it “𝐌𝐄-𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫”.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝘽𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙖𝙢𝙚:

Tied to the Miramichi River- a steady presence flowing through our city, starting there felt right because of how deeply tied it is to our City.

We wanted something local, simple and meaningful. MiRiver felt right because this isn't just an app…it’s a tool built specifically for our community.

• Our roads.
• Our commutes.
• Our community helping each other get where we need to go.

MiRiver is a nod to the Miramichi River, but also to the people using it.

Me.
You.
Us.
MiRiver. 🤝

Here’s the truth: You can pronounce it however you like! If "MY-River" makes you feel more connected to it, then that’s exactly how it should be said.

At the end of the day, it’s not about the pronunciation, it’s about the people. 👫👬
