🚀 Career Opportunity at Porter!

We’re looking to hire a Junior Project Manager to help coordinate our office furniture installation projects across the GTAH.

This is a newly created role in response to our expanding business and growth.

You’ll handle walkthroughs, support quoting based on site and project needs, and coordinate projects externally with clients and internally with our install teams.

Candidates must have a solid understanding of office furniture technicals and installation processes, while also demonstrating client professionalism and excellent communication at all levels.

For over 20 years, Porter Services Group has been providing professional office furniture installation to commercial businesses in the Greater Toronto, Hamilton and Kitchener/Waterloo area.

We are currently looking for new employees to join our Office Furniture Apprenticeship Program (OFAP). We provide full training to help you advance your career in this growing trade profession.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Clean driver’s abstract and experience driving G-class, automatic transmission vehicles.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs. Requires loading and unloading trucks, and carrying furniture inside buildings.
• Able to work irregular hours of work: daytime, evenings and occasional weekend work.
• Familiar with how to use, and own, basic hand tools (cordless drill, etc..)
• Professional appearance and able to speak English courteously with clients. We are onsite at businesses where our client's office workers are present.

We’re excited to announce the opening of our new facility at 665 Colby Drive in Waterloo, expanding Porter’s western regional operations! 🚀

This new location, alongside our Mississauga head office, lets us better serve the 401 Western corridor with our expanded team and fleet.

Our commitment to high-quality furniture installations, office moving, and project reporting continues, and we can’t wait to collaborate on upcoming projects with our partners and clients in the area.

Love hearing back from Happy Clients.

Thanks to the great team at Porter, our furniture installation went extremely well last week in our new office at 1801 McGill College Rd.
