Meet Corey Hastings!

If you've spent any time around APPS, chances are you've crossed paths with Corey. He's our "does everything" guy, and we mean everything. From building picnic tables and furniture, moving equipment, fixing building issues, and tackling maintenance projects, Corey is always the first to lend a hand and get the job done.

Beyond his many talents around the terminal, Corey also keeps the team well-fed and entertained. Whether he's firing up the BBQ, serving his legendary jerk chicken and corn, or stepping behind the DJ booth at company events, Corey helps make APPS a great place to work.

When he's not busy taking on his next project, you'll likely find him enjoying a great action movie.

For the past 10 years, Corey has been a valued part of the APPS family, bringing hard work, versatility, and plenty of positive energy to everything he does. Thanks for all you do, Corey! 👏

30 Years of Dedication at APPS Transport Group! 👏

This month, we're celebrating an incredible milestone as Richard Prentice marks 30 years with APPS Transport Group.

Richard began his career with us as a driver and, a few years later, embraced a new challenge by stepping into Safety & Compliance. Three decades later, he continues to lead that function with the same commitment, professionalism, and care that have defined his entire career.

Outside of work, Richard is passionate about music. Whether it's electric or acoustic guitar, you'll often find him playing the country hits of the '80s and '90s, classic rock and roll, and blues. One of his most memorable concert experiences was seeing Canadian favourite Jann Arden perform live.

Richard, thank you for 30 years of dedication, leadership, and friendship. We are grateful for everything you have contributed to APPS and look forward to celebrating many more milestones with you.

Since joining APPS in 2024, Anisha has become a valued member of our Customer Service team. As a Customer Service Supervisor, her dedication to enhancing the customer experience and supporting those around her is appreciated by customers and colleagues alike.

Outside of work, Anisha has a passion for cars and proudly holds the title of the "Leddy" of her car group. Her dream car is a Camaro, and she's currently putting her own touch on her Nissan Rogue with custom wraps and tinted windows. Her favourite colour? Royal Blue, of course.

Whether she's helping customers, supporting the team, or talking cars, Anisha brings enthusiasm and personality to everything she does. We're proud to have her as part of the APPS family!

Since joining APPS Transport Group in 2023, Mausami has been a valued member of our team as a Supervisor, HR & Payroll, supporting our people and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

When she's away from the office, you'll often find her exploring Ontario's natural beauty. Some of her favourite destinations include Mono Cliffs and the Blue Mountains, where she enjoys hiking, fresh air, scenic caves, and breathtaking views from the top of the trails.

Indoors, Mausami channels her creativity through sketching, with a special talent for drawing faces as a budding artist.

With 16 years of service and many roles along the way, Brian Burrell has built a career rooted in adaptability, experience, and leadership. Today, as Warehouse Manager at our Oakville facility, he brings a hands-on approach and a genuine commitment to supporting his team and delivering results for our customers.

Brian's journey began behind the wheel, where he enjoyed the opportunity to travel to new places and experience different parts of the industry firsthand. It's that same variety that continues to motivate him today, with each day bringing new challenges and opportunities.

When he's not at work, you'll likely find Brian on the basketball court or checking out the latest tech gadgets. A self-proclaimed tech nerd, he enjoys learning how new tools and technology can make life a little easier.

What Brian enjoys most about his role is the people. From mentoring team members to helping solve problems and keeping operations running smoothly, he takes pride in building strong relationships and supporting those around him.
