We had a great time exhibiting at , Canada's Life Sciences Summit, at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre on September 28 and 29!

Ajay Sharma and Christopher Loubert connected with researchers, founders and lab teams from across the country. A big thank you to Next Great Big Ideas for a fantastic event in support of McMaster Children's Hospital, and to everyone who visited our table.

When a specimen or sample moves, so does its chain of custody record.

Armstrong Scientific Transport maintains detailed, time-stamped documentation at every stage of a move - who handled it, when, and under what conditions - so that chain of custody is never in question.

Where this matters most? For clinical trial samples, regulated specimens, or research materials where a documentation gap can compromise the integrity of the work itself.

Transport is only defensible when it's documented.

Relocating a lab across a border isn't just a longer move. It's a different kind of move.

Specialized equipment, reagents, and biological or hazardous materials can trigger export/import permitting, customs classification, and country-specific regulatory review that standard freight doesn't encounter.

Armstrong Scientific Transport helps navigate classification, documentation, and cross-border compliance - with customs timing built into your relocation schedule from day one, not treated as an afterthought.

Planning an international lab relocation? Let's talk through what your shipment will require.

In scientific transport, temperature fidelity isn't a preference. It's a strict regulatory requirement.

Most providers use rented re**er trucks with passive cooling, relying on dry ice systems that sublimate unpredictably over long distances, creating temperature spikes that can compromise years of research.

Armstrong operates its own plug-in refrigerated trailers, engineered to keep specialized units including ultra-low temperature freezers continuously powered throughout transit. That means no gaps, no passive cooling, and no unpredictable temperature swings during the move.

These aren't standard cargo trucks. They're mobile cold-chain support engineered to protect what cannot be replaced.

CAUBO 2026 is in St. John's this year. We'll be there.

June 15 to 17. Three days of conversations with the people who actually plan and run lab moves at Canadian universities. Some of our favourite work happens because of relationships that started in a conference hall.

If you'll be there, we'd love to talk about what's on your 2026 horizon. Lab relocations. ULT freezer transport. Obstacle and air-table moves. Cross-border coordination. The kind of project that's easier to scope in person than over email.

Message us before the conference and we'll put time on the calendar.

See you in Newfoundland.
