On the 32nd day of my five weeks abroad and day before my 32nd birthday, this chance encounter with was the surprise of all surprises.

It was especially timely as these five weeks have been both unbelievably amazing and grueling. I’ve pulled almost nonstop all nighters, clients have faced more challenges traveling than ever (the demand is here but the travel infrastructure is not) and the few days I built in to be true vacation days ended up being anything but relaxing.

I’d be lying if there weren’t moments of “is this dream business of mine going to work”?!

When sharing my recent adventures with Richard, he said “Wow, how lucky are you to have your job”, (almost as if I had the cooler job!), and it was the most beautiful, poignant statement coming from someone who is the epitome of role models for all entrepreneurs.

As I celebrate my 32nd birthday today and get ready to depart from visiting my 40th country, my wish for this year is that we all keep chasing the dream and remember nothing amazing is built overnight ❤️🎂❤️

And to every client who helps make this dream of mine a reality, your patience and support as travel comes back - no words will ever explain my gratitude! I’m truly the luckiest 💙

Hiii! Let’s talk about the current state of travel and working together ❤️

It’s been a heavy week for many, and I’ve been watching the news nonstop. The optimist in me is hopeful for a fast resolution, and yet the realist/history nerd in me knows the conflict in Ukraine/Russia is still very TBD.

Starting a travel business pre-COVID was a dream come true, and despite the ongoing curveballs, I’m amazed and grateful for your endless support and forever determined to help you safely see the world.

Countless clients are still moving ahead with travels for this spring and summer, and many of you have said it’s because of your trust in me, my forever honest, always transparent approach, and flexibility.

Travel is meant to be fun, life changing, and relaxing.

As a licensed therapist and travel advisor, I can almost always guess your concerns or questions right away. My goal has always been and always will be to help make traveling the world seamless.

Did you know you CAN travel to Africa right now? Omicron and its pesky cousins continue to make travel precarious and confusing, which is why I’m happy to help clarify!

US citizens can visit as a tourist or go for work purposes to most major countries in Africa, including my all time favorites like Kenya, Seychelles, Rwanda, Mozambique, and South Africa.

Major airlines like , United Airlines], and have been flying to and from the US-Africa-Europe-Middle East throughout most of COVID.

I flew United Airlines] Newark-Johannesburg-Newark this Fall and was one of roughly 40 people on a 250+ person flight each time! I’ve also flown , , , , , and at various points and same deal!!

Thanks to Africa’s experiences battling things like Ebola, African countries actually have tons of protocols already in place to limit the spread of COVID.

Thanks to safaris taking place outside and glamping nature, safaris are naturally (pun intended!) COVID friendly activities!

Don’t listen to myths that medical care is scary in Africa! Their medical teams are the reason we know about Omicron, and when I had two severe asthma attacks in Cape Town, I immediately felt safe knowing I had world class medical care nearby!

Personally, I felt safer in Africa than I have in Europe or parts of the US thanks to COVID testing being readily available, staff being vaccinated, tons of mask wearing, and stayed COVID free during 15 PCR tests over the course of 11+ weeks so something must be working over there!!
