As we head back to school, let’s all do our part:
• Stay alert - especially in school zones and neighbourhoods.
• Slow down - give yourself extra time and space.
• Watch for kids - they may not always see you coming.
• Be patient - stressed parents and excited kids make for busy roads.

For our drivers, safety is always part of the haul.

From first aid kits to emergency roadside equipment, being ready can make all the difference.
On International Overdose Awareness Day, we're reminding everyone that recognizing the signs of an opioid overdose could help save a life.
If you suspect an overdose:
• The person is unresponsive and cannot be woken.
• Their breathing is slow, irregular, or has stopped.
• Their lips, fingertips, or skin appear blue or grey.
If you notice these signs:
• Call 911 immediately.
• If naloxone (Narcan®) is available, administer it according to the instructions.
• Stay with the person until emergency responders arrive.
Being prepared isn't just about protecting yourself; it's about looking out for others.
Together, we can help make our highways and communities safer through awareness, quick action, and compassion.

Throwing it back to 2012.
This beautiful Kenworth, believed to be a 2001 model powered by a legendary CAT engine, was originally owned by Scott Waterhouse.
When Scott retired, we were proud to add it to the Skelton fleet. Truth be told, it was simply too beautiful to let go.
This truck also holds a special place in our history, it was one of the very first trucks photographed for our very first Skelton calendar.
Looking back, it's amazing how much has changed over the years. The fleet has grown, the business has evolved, and countless miles have been travelled. But one thing has remained the same: a pride in our trucks, our people, and the journey that has brought us here.
