Did you know that Edgemont Moving handles international shipments?

A client just had their goods delivered to their new residence in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa, Vietnam!

We helped this client move items from two places in North Vancouver to our storage. Once they had everything in order for shipping, we loaded their goods onto an exclusive use 40 foot container. The shipment travelled by ocean freight and after it cleared customs, was delivered by truck to their new residence.

A lot goes in to an international shipment, and Edgemont Moving can help you get there!

At Edgemont Moving, we believe in supporting our community.

For over 2 decades, Edgemont Moving has worked with The Cinderella Project to set up their “boutique day”. We move everything (garments, mirrors, clothing racks, and so much more) from their storage unit in North Vancouver and deliver to the Pinnacle Harbourfront. At the end of the event, we move it all out again until the following year.

This important event gives vulnerable youth a space to gain support in reaching the milestone of high school graduation. The Cinderella project makes hundreds of dreams come true every year!

We are honoured to suppport this great initiative. If you are looking for a worthwhile, local cause to support, think of The Cinderella Project.

Are you moving and looking for environmentally friendly packing options?

At Edgemont Moving, we offer free, good quality, used cardboard boxes and crush packing paper to our booked clients.
Want to skip the cardboard completely? Contact our friends and rent their reusable moving storage totes to pack up your belongings prior to your move.

Want to continue to cut down on materials used? Get creative with packing. Use suitcases to move clothing - why would you move any empty suitcase? Use linens, pillows, and towels to pad boxed non-fragile items. However, don’t skimp on properly padding your breakables such as dishes, art, mirrors or glass (to name a few)!

After your move, we accept ALL used boxes and materials to reuse or responsibly recycle. Fun fact, all our paper and cardboard materials are made in Richmond BC which supports our local BC economy.
