Today has weighed heavily on our hearts. We learned that a tow operator, out on Highway 401 simply trying to help someone in need, tragically lost his life. He wasn’t a member of Metro Towing, but that doesn’t change what he meant to all of us in this profession. In the towing world, uniforms may differ, but the bond doesn’t — we are one community, one family.
To his family, his coworkers, and everyone who knew him, we extend our deepest sympathy. A loss like this is felt across the entire industry.
Please, let this be a reminder to everyone on the road: Slow Down and Move Over for any stopped emergency or service vehicle. Tow operators deserve the same protection and respect — their lives depend on it.
