St. Barbe (NL) to Blanc-Sablon ferry crossing is a smooth ride. The drive across the island will not disappoint. Be prepared to relax and enjoy nature at its finest. Sun and rain can be expected. Cell service will diminish the further west you go and brace yourself. It does not exist from Blanc-Sablon to Goose Bay. No you heard me correct-no, nota, not getting any service. Who thought those places existed. I thought it would be sporadic but boy was I wrong.
Sit back and enjoy the ride. Loons, owls and 2 bears were the sights. I was too excited to see the bears I did not get the pictures.

Foggy crossing on the Labrador ferry and so I was told thunder and lightning too. I may have slept through it. Very smooth ride

So the Northern Peninsula certainly has the wild life but please slow down to enjoy it. We saw 3 rabbits, a toad and 6 moose. Yes 6 moose over a 30 minute span at dusk. One was a very close encounter. It can be a deadly one too.
