The BC Provincial Mine Rescue and First Aid Competition is underway in Penticton today and tomorrow.

More than 12 six-member teams from mines across BC are competing at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre, putting rescue skills, first aid knowledge, and teamwork to the test. The competition is free for spectators.

Penticton is proud to host this event in 2026 and again in 2027. A big thank you to the City of Penticton, the PTCC, the Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals, and the Mining Association of BC for making it happen.

Our meetings team thought, "let's do something new and refreshing", which turned out to be a branded oxygen bar at the RFABC tradeshow last week.

We partnered with Amuzing Fun Rentals to give delegates a chance to relax and recharge after a full day of sessions. A little wellness goes a long way in this industry.

If you were at RFABC last week, we hope you got a chance to breathe. Literally.
