The Study Design for the Peterborough Regional Airport Taxiway B Extension project in 2026 is available for public review and comments until Thursday, January 8, 2026. 🛬Find information, share comments, and submit questions on the project on the City of Peterborough’s community engagement hub at connectptbo.ca/AirportTaxiway.

The planned extension of Taxiway B was identified as a priority in the 2022 Master Plan Update for the Peterborough Regional Airport. The project aims to improve safety for ground traffic and address runway capacity needs to support continued growth and operational efficiency at the airport.

ATTENTION, PLANNED WATER SHUTDOWN

Due to required repairs to the potable water lines on Airport road, there is a planned water shutdown on Saturday December 6th from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. The Good Baker YPQ will be closed during this shutdown. Fire suppression systems will remain fully operations throughout this period.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Water pressure at the Airport has reached a point where repairs can no longer be deferred without risking significant impact. We appreciate your patience and understanding as this essential work is completed.
