Take a ride on the MV Frances Barkley for a day to escape the fast pace of life and enjoy the tranquility of the West Coast. Scan the shores for black bears and eagles, look out over the water and see if you can't spot a seal or some whales. On deck, you are able to watch the crew as they unload freight for the residents and visitors of Barkley Sound. We deliver everything from lumber to washing machines to groceries to even livestock.

A notice to any of our customers ordering or having freight delivered on Friday,

Please be aware that the Hometown Takeover Unveiling will be happening on Friday Aug 28th.
Due to this, there will be road closures in place in the Harbour Quay.
We have been informed that there should still be access to our dock for deliveries but as much as possible we recommend deliveries tomorrow ( Thursday Aug 27th) or early morning on Friday Aug 28th.
We apologize for any inconvenience and if you have any concerns please call our Office at 250-723-8313

There has been a number of whale sightings recently on our sailings in the Barkley Sound.

Join us for a trip on the Frances Barkley.
We sail Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Our July sailing schedule is filling up quickly, with Tuesdays and Saturdays being especially popular.

Thursdays and our select Sunday sailings remain available, and we are now taking bookings for Late July and August.
