オンタリオ･アウトドア･アドベンチャーズは、人とアウトドアとの接点、すなわちカナダの歴史・文化および大自然を安全に楽んでいただける形で、お客さまと旅し、探索し、共有することを目的としています。

社名の「オンタリオ･アウトドア･アドベンチャーズ」は以下を意味しています。
まず「オンタリオ」、これは北米先住民のオジブワ族の言葉で「輝く水のある土地」という意味です。50万以上の淡水湖と川があるこの美しい州の名称オンタリオはここからきています。オンタリオ州内のカヌー･ルートは世界中のどの地域よりも多く、第一級の州立公園システムは272箇所に及ぶ生態学的にも貴重な手付かずの自然と自然遺産エリアを管理し、次世代のために保護しています。
次に「アウトドア」ですが、これは単純に「野外」を意味します。自然の驚異や野生動物などを観察できるよう、自然と一体になり、自然の生態系の中で快適に過ごせるようにすること

を含意しています。
最後の「アドベンチャー」ですが、個人であれグループであれ、お客さまにOOAが提供するユニークな旅のことです。その旅を通して長年の夢を叶える、新しい知識や技術を学び実践する、しばらく遠ざかっていた自然とのつながりを取り戻し、新たにきずなを築くなどといったことを、OOAはお手伝いします。
以上はOOA の使命でありコミットメントでもあります。
