200 Boxes, One Big Community Impact! 💙

Southport is proud to support the 12th annual Brake for Breakfast fundraiser!

Southport set a goal of donating 200 boxes of cereal, and the goal has been reached! 🎉 The cereal will help fill a school bus and support children in the Portage la Prairie School Division, helping ensure every child starts the day with a full belly.

There’s still time to help! Donations of cash or cereal are being accepted at Portage Supermarket until 6:00 PM tonight and tomorrow from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Thank you to everyone helping make this community initiative a success! 💙

Keeping Southport Clean and Safe! ✈️

This morning, military students from 3 Canadian Forces Flight Training School (3CFFTS) and KF Aerospace took part in a Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Walk at Southport.

Teams made their way through the community and down the highway collecting garbage and loose items that could pose a hazard to aircraft, helping keep the site clean while supporting safe aviation operations.

FOD Walks are an important part of maintaining a safe aviation environment, and they also provide an opportunity to help beautify the community.

A special thank-you to the 3CFFTS students and KF Aerospace for helping keep Southport clean, safe and ready for flight! ✈️
