Due to today's snowy weather conditions, riders may experience River Route bus delays throughout the day. Travel times may be extended, and some stops may be impacted depending on conditions.

River Route stop change (effective immediately): Newport Dr / Hwy 2 → Giant Tiger Blvd / Hwy 2. This relocation is permanent.

River Route service update: The stop at Newport Dr / Hwy 2 has been permanently relocated, effective immediately. Please use the new stop at Giant Tiger Blvd / Hwy 2 going forward.

Attention River Route riders: effective immediately, the Newport Dr / Hwy 2 stop has moved to Giant Tiger Blvd / Hwy 2 and this change is permanent. Please make sure you’re waiting at the updated stop location.

UPDATE 7:35 a.m.

Due to continued poor road conditions, River Route service is cancelled until 9:30 a.m.

Service is expected to resume at 9:30 a.m. in Brockville at the Superstore, pending further assessment of road conditions.

Residents are encouraged to limit unnecessary travel during this time.

Due to ongoing freezing rain and unsafe road conditions, the River Route transit service will have a delayed start this morning.

The River Route is delayed until at least 7:30 a.m. Road conditions will be reassessed, and updates will be shared as they become available.

The River Route is open for business in South Grenville. 🚌

Running Monday to Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in a two-hour loop, the River Route connects Brockville, Augusta, Prescott, and Edwardsburgh Cardinal, linking major employers, industrial parks, and downtowns along County Road 2. At $5 per ride (or 10 tickets for $40), it’s an affordable option for employees, students, and job seekers—and a valuable tool for recruitment and retention.
