Niagara Boat Experiences - Persephone

Then let us take you on an experience like no other. Catharines Marina, Port
Weller) and relax in our living room like setting where you will meet Captain Angela and First Mate Amber of Persephone. We will board the boat and have our safety meeting and get to know the location of amenities on board Persephone. Then we relax with a drink of choice as we get underway. We will travel 15 kms to the mouth of the Niagara river where it comes out to Lake Ontario then head up stream as far as we can safely, due to rapids and currents (10kms). There we can see the Lewiston bridge and, Sir Isaac Brock’s monument in Queenston Heights. This is where we feel the strength and current of the river as if flows to Lake Ontario. We will then float out of the river using only the power of the water. Our next leg will take us to a local beach complete with water toys, SUP (paddleboards), swimming and a buffet of snacks, beverages and salads. You are welcome to head to shore and go exploring at this time. PDFs must be worn if heading to shore. Safety is our main priority for all ur guests. After we dry off a bit we will head to open water for some fun and Captain Angela will show you what Persephone, a Monterey 270 sport cruiser is made of. How easily it cuts through the chop and handles. No you cannot drive the boat but she is there for any questions you may have. We will then return to dock for disembarking. You are welcome to relax back at the dock in the comfy chairs before you head out to your next adventure. We look forward to having you on board creating the best memories. Experience 2 - Port Dalhousie Beach, Water Toys and Shipwreck

This one is for the young at heart and having some fun! Catharines Marina, Port Weller) and relax in our outdoor living room like setting where you will be able to meet Captain Angela and First Mate Amber of Persephone. In this experience we head west (7kms) to Port Dalhousie Beach crossing the shipping lanes of the Welland Canal where we bust out some water toys, SUP (paddleboards), and swimming. This is a great time to listen to some beats, relax and enjoy the water, snacks, salads and beverages to keep everyone hydrated. Safety is our main priority for all your guests. Once we dry off a bit we head to Jordan Harbour, to view the rusting shipwreck which closely resembles a pirate ship. It only floats a few meters off the shoreline measuring 40 metres (140feet). It’s a life-sized replica of the three-masted sailing vessel explorer Jacque Cartier travelled in the 1500s. After that, we hit the open water for some fun and Captain Angela will show you what Persephone, a Monterey 270 sport cruiser is made of. Again, no you cannot drive the boat but she is there for any questions you may have. Experience 3 - Sunset Cruise in Port Dalhousie/Sunset Beach

For the romantics or sunset chasers, this later afternoon cruise is one to remember. In this experience we head west (7kms) to Port Dalhousie Beach Pier crossing the shipping lanes of the Welland Canal. Then we back track to Sunset Beach where we bust out some water toys, SUP (paddleboards), and swimming. This is a great time to listen to some beats, relax and enjoy the water. Snacks and beverages to keep everyone hydrated. It’s the perfect location for the sun to give its spectacular light show, watching as it fades into the horizon of the water. This is a cozy social type of cruise with your loved ones and/or friends. Experience 4 - Custom Experience
