Celebrating Paramedic Services Week 2026

We recognize the dedication and expertise of paramedics during Paramedic Services Week.

Since the 1990s, we have operated medevac flights across northern Saskatchewan in support of their work and the exceptional care they deliver to patients.

On board every flight that departs from our base in La Ronge—whether in the depths of winter, the height of summer, or the middle of the night—we witness the professionalism and compassion these healthcare teams bring to every patient.

Standing Strong. Ending Violence.

At Rise Air, we believe everyone deserves to live without fear. That’s why we are proud to stand with the Moose Hide Campaign—an Indigenous-led grassroots movement dedicated to ending violence against women and children.

What started in 2011 with a single moose has grown into a national symbol of protection and accountability. By wearing the moose hide pin, we join over two million Canadians in a collective pledge to foster safety and respect in our communities.

The Impact at a Glance
A National Voice: Uniting Indigenous and non-Indigenous men in the fight against gender-based violence.

Visible Commitment: Over two million pins distributed to spark vital conversations.

Tangible Change: Millions of dollars raised to support survivors and prevention programs.

A small patch of hide represents a massive commitment to change. Together, we can help break the cycle.

Two events, two Rise Air teams—one central location. You’ll find us at the Jonas Roberts Memorial Community Centre in La Ronge for Core Days 2026 and the LLRIB & KCDA Career Fair.

Kristi Knight and Maksym Poliakov are doing more than exhibiting at Core Days this year. Following the fish fry, they’ll be leading tours for attendees, offering a closer look at our La Ronge facilities and the people, expertise, and teamwork behind the services we deliver.

On the recruitment front, Jake Ho from our HR team, alongside local colleagues, is leading our outreach to those interested in aviation careers with Rise Air and Snowbird Aviation Services.

We’ve even brought a flight simulator so attendees can try their hand at navigating the North—right from the safety of the JRMCC.

The tri-community region is home to one of our largest operational bases, and we’re proud to be part of building a stronger future here through training, careers, and long-term opportunities.

With Saskatchewan’s largest charter and workforce transportation fleet, we support companies from early exploration through to full-scale operations.

When it comes to air services in Northern Saskatchewan, Rise Air is the trusted partner—helping our customers move forward and grow.

Rise Air provides air services on floats, skis, and wheels, offering the versatility needed in this market. Snowbird Aviation Services, our sister company, provides extensive ground and customer services, including in-house de-icing and refuelling facilities, passenger lounges, and freight forwarding across Northern Saskatchewan.

While many customers charter small aircraft for exploration directly from Saskatoon and other southern bases, we also offer an extensive scheduled flight network operating six days a week across northern communities. Travelling on scheduled service allows customers to connect with charter flights and manage costs more effectively. With the largest fleet in Saskatchewan—and one of the largest in Western Canada—we have the right options to meet your needs.

Today we observe , the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit people.

Inspired by the REDress Project by Métis artist Jaime Black, the red dresses we see today are a visual reminder of the "presence through absence"—honouring those who are missing and standing in solidarity with their families and communities.

We wear red today to ensure their stories are never forgotten and to reinforce our commitment to safety, justice, and reconciliation. ❤️

# # ✈️ Sharing Smiles Across the North! 🍪💙

At **Rise Air**, we know that a small treat can make a world of difference—especially when it helps our neighbors. That’s why we’re so proud to support the annual **Tim Hortons Smile Cookie** campaign!

Did you know? **100% of proceeds** from every Smile Cookie go directly to local charities and community groups. Last year, Canadians raised a record-breaking **$22.6 million**, supporting over 600 organizations including local hospitals, food banks, and schools.

Delivering Joy to the Skies 🌤️
Because our heart belongs to the North, we’ve been busy making sure these smiles reach every corner of our province. We’ve been hard at work **sending Smile Cookies across Saskatchewan’s North**, ensuring our remote communities are part of this incredible movement.
