Day 1 of our Disney agent education program did not disappoint! 📝 Spent the afternoon with some of the best people from TimelessTalesTravel and Walt Disney World

One of my absolute favourite things about Animal Kingdom is stepping into Pandora. Even if you’ve never seen the movie, it’s completely impressive in its massive scale and insane level of detail.

Getting to personally experience the parks like this is the best part of the job—it means I get to test out everything firsthand and figure out exactly how to map out the perfect day for every type of traveler. For instance, if you’re not a big thrill-seeker like me, you don’t have to miss out on the magic. You can get that totally immersed feeling by taking a boat ride on Na’vi River Journey. It features the Shaman of Songs, which is easily one of Disney’s most advanced animatronics ever. She stands nearly 10 feet tall, and her movements are so fluid and lifelike it’s almost unreal. 🌿

We ended the night with an exclusive last ride on Flight of Passage, followed by an amazing dinner.

Hey! I’m Jess, a Disney-loving mama and travel agent specializing in Disney destinations! 🚢✨

If you’re thinking about a Disney Cruise Line vacation for your family, knowing these key details before you book can save you hundreds of dollars and a ton of stress.

Here are 5 essential tips every family needs to know:

1️⃣ Booking early saves you money. Disney Cruise prices are at their lowest when sailings are first released. As staterooms fill up, rates go up.
Pro-tip: When you book with me, I actively monitor your reservation for newly released promotions to lower your price!

2️⃣ Pick the ship, not just the ports. The ship IS the destination! Got a major Spider-Man fan? You’ll want a ship featuring the Marvel dining experience or Marvel Day at Sea. Matching your family’s interests to the right ship makes all the difference.

3️⃣ Snag early dining fast. Disney offers two dining times: 5:45 PM and 8:15 PM. If you have toddlers or young kids who can’t wait until 8:15 PM to eat, booking early is crucial to lock in that main dining spot before it sells out.

4️⃣ Not all staterooms are created equal. Even within the same category, some rooms feature larger square footage or significantly bigger extended verandahs. Knowing which cabin to pick matters!

5️⃣ Working with a travel agent *ahem* costs $0 extra. You pay the exact same price as booking directly with Disney, but you get expert planning, itinerary help, and price monitoring—saving you time and money.
