Bella Casa Moving and Two Rivers Delivery are a small, local moving and delivery company with a reputation for excellent customer service and quality moving throughout lower Manitoba. Due to an increase in business we are currently hiring to accommodate our growth.
Positions: Driver/Mover - Part time/Casual/On Call
Duties:
- Driving a 5 ton manual truck for moving and delivery company
- Be able to lift 50lbs plus
- Provide excellent customer service
- At moves, greet customer upon arriving at the specified location and complete a walk-through of the premises
- Load and unload truck (as part of a team of 2)
- Keeps the customer and management informed of anticipated delays and any additional information needed to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitability
- Safely move/pack/unpack customerβs belongings by utilizing all of the proper moving equipment and techniques and following the necessary prescribed policies
- Organizing and securing truck at the end of each job and ensures truck and equipment is maintained in a clean, safe and professional manner
- Accurately complete paperwork
Job Requirements
- Must have clean driver's abstract
- Must have experience driving a 5 ton manual truck
- Knowledge of city of Winnipeg and surrounding areas
- Commitment to customer service excellence and exceeding the customer's expectations
- Positive attitude
- Professional demeanor and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Experience in the fields of general labor, moving, and or delivery
- Stamina to lift heavy items (100 lbs. or more) repeatedly while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc.
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Have reliable transportation to where our trucks are parked
- Valid Canadian driver's license and good driving record
- Legally allowed to work in Canada
Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 an hour
Part time/Casual/On call
