🚛 Another 5th Wheel Safely Transported! 🏕️

A customer reached out to us about transporting her new-to-her 5th wheel from Metchosin to Shawnigan Lake. We walked her through the entire transport process, answered her questions, and got her booked in!

On the day of the move, we completed a thorough inspection with the customer to make sure the trailer was in suitable condition to safely travel down the road. We pointed out a few minor defects we noticed, made sure she was aware of them, and then got hooked up and ready to roll.

The trailer may not be perfect yet, but the customer has plans to restore it and bring it back to life. We were happy to be a small part of getting her new project to its new home!

While the Denny Pacific Transport team is out in Alberta on a long haul, they reached out to see if we could help one of their customers here on Vancouver Island. As always, we said YES! 💪

They sent the customer’s information over, and we got in touch right away. We picked up their bumper-pull camper from their farm and safely moved it to their campground. We’ll also be moving it again for them at the end of the month!

No matter what the job is, South Island Hauling will always do everything we can to get it done! 💯

🏡 Another last-minute move successfully completed! 🚛💪

We received a call from Denny Pacific Transport asking if we could assist with a last-minute move. This job had previously been postponed due to the devastating fires in the Summerland, BC area and the evacuations that followed.

We said YES and got straight to the drawing board! 🗺️

We headed up to Port Alberni the evening before the delivery to pick up the trailer and catch the ferry to the mainland, where we began the long trek further into BC. We made it as far as Loon Lake for the night before getting back on the road and finishing the job Friday morning.

Our customer was extremely thankful that we were able to get his new home to him safely and in a timely manner. 🏡❤️

At South Island Hauling, we pride ourselves on making the impossible possible. Working closely with Denny Pacific Transport, we’re able to work as a team, coordinate logistics, and do whatever it takes to get the job done for our customers — even when the job comes up last minute!

Our hearts go out to everyone who has been affected by the fires across BC this year. ❤️‍🩹 We also want to give a huge THANK YOU to all the first responders, firefighters, emergency crews, and volunteers working tirelessly to keep communities safe during these incredibly scary and stressful times. 🚒🙏
