It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Federico Angel Puerta, the beloved founder and owner of our company. Federico built this organization with vision, integrity, and heart, and his leadership shaped not only our work, but our community. We miss him deeply — as a mentor, an inspiration, and a friend.
Life partner of Cristina (T**i); devoted father to Andrés, Felipe, and Federico (Erin); and deeply devoted abuelo to Alejo, Santiago, and Lucía.
For Federico, family knew no boundaries: his siblings, brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins, and those cherished friends who became brothers were the absolute center of his universe.
To know Federico was simply to be captivated by his charisma.
He was the eternal teacher and the great storyteller who could turn any moment into an unforgettable memory.
A tireless optimist who found rhythm on the dance floor, freedom on the ski slopes, and strategy on the tennis court.
A visionary entrepreneur, master of paella, and proud Colombian and Canadian, Federico recently left us his literary legacy as the author of La memoria de un Nombre (The Memory of a Name).
A life that deserves to be celebrated.
Those who had the privilege of walking alongside him—whether for a lifetime, decades, or just an instant—share the same truth: his presence was a gift.
Federico will always be remembered for the genuine love he radiated and the joy he sparked in the hearts of others.
After facing a brief but fierce battle with cancer, Federico said goodbye in the serenity of his home, wrapped in the infinite love of his family.
He departed as he lived: with the courage of a warrior and the peace of one who gave everything.
Today, his name is not merely a memory, but a living legacy that will continue telling stories in the hearts of all who love him.
